On Monday night, the JV boys were visited by the Vikings of Tri-County. Once again, the boys struggled to find their shooting rhythm in the first quarter but still led 11-3. "We have not been shooting the ball well at the start of games," said Coach Delamater. "We are getting good game shots, but they are not falling. The boys have been doing a great job of fighting through that and playing great defense." The Tiger defense continued to play well throughout the game, holding the Vikings to just 19 points through 3 quarters. In the second quarter, the Tigers found their rhythm, much to the credit of some some great transition offense. "Our transition game has improved a great deal in the past few weeks," said Delamater. "Guys are looking down the floor with their heads up and it is leading to some great looks down the floor." The second half was much the same, with Grant playing great defense and controlling the tempo for a 59-37 win. Gage Burrows led the team with 14 points and Orion Evans chipped in 11. Three Tigers led the team with six rebounds on the game including Brayden Swanson, Eli Bradley, and Elliot Butchart. Next up the Tigers play away at Fremont on Thursday night.
