KENT CITY HIGH SCHOOL: 58
Prior to game day, Lady Tigers prepared to execute the reversal pass to weave through Kent City's press. The first half left a number of our players drained, as they battled to keep the score within winning range. Tigers began the second half trailing by 6, but the gap quickly increased as Kent City combated the reversal pass in their front court with steals that turned to quick buckets. This produced a lead of 43 to 22 by the end of the third quarter for the Eagles. Grant was not able to pull back into a competitive play. Scorers for the night were as follows:??? Arends 9, Swanson 7, Wolff 5, Rider 2, and Ritz for 2.
