Grant vs. Reed City Summary

The Grant Tigers won a four-quarter fist fight with the Reed City Coyotes, snapping the Coyotes 32-game conference win streak.
The Tigers quarterback; Brendan Keelean was 4 for 8 for 98 yards and had 72 yards rushing. Brendan scored the Tiger’s only touchdown in the second quarter, he then connected on the two-point conversion to senior Billy Ostyn to take the lead.
Senior Jarrett Railling led the defense with 10 tackles; including one for a loss. Junior Brett Long also recorded 9 tackles including one for a loss.
Coach Geraghty credits the defense for a well-played game. “Our players stood up to the league Giant and were equal to the task”. “I am so happy for these kids, this is four years of work paying off”.
