The JV boys picked up their first win of the young season yesterday with a 56-23 decision over Shelby. The boys overcame another slow start putting up 50 points in the last three quarters. Orion Evans sparked the Tigers off the bench scoring all eight of his points in the first half. "Orion's intensity got us going after a slow start," said Coach Delamater. "He attacked the basket, grabbed several rebounds, and played great defense during a stretch where we really needed it." Isaiah Powell led the Tigers with 16 points, while Gage Burrows grabbed 9 rebounds. Next up, the Tigers play away on Thursday at Central Montcalm.
