REED CITY HIGH SCHOOL: 40
The first win of the season did not come easy. The Lady Tigers played a fast pace up and down game, but both teams had trouble finishing off plays. In the end it came down to one free throw made by Nicole Whan that sealed the deal with .8 seconds left. The tigers tipped the inbounds pass and won 41 to 40. Grant is now 1-1 in the conference. They will travel to Sparta on Tuesday for a non-league game starting at 6pm.
