SPARTA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 46
The Grant Tigers ran into a hot shoot Sparta team on Tuesday night. The Spartans jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter. The Tigers roared back and took the lead part way through the second quarter. The half ended with Sparta leading 27 to 24. Grant could not find a rhythm in second half and only manged to score 8 points.
The Tigers were led in score by Kirstyn Throop with 13 points.
Grant will be back in action on Friday against conference opponent Reed City. The Tigers are currently 1-0 in conference play. Tip off is 5:30pm in Grant.
