The Grant Tigers came a short in a battle against their rivals to the north, the Newaygo Lions. The first half was a battle back and forth, but Newaygo was able to make a couple shots down the stretch. The Tigers were unable to answer the call from the offensive end. Final 27 to 41.
Kirstyn Throop led the Tigers with 10 points.
