CENTRAL MONTCALM HIGH SCHOOL: 48
The Tigers faced the Hornets on Friday night, coming up short 31-48. The first half was a defensive battle with neither team scoring in double digits either quarter. Central came out hot in the 3rd hitting four of their five threes in the quarter. Coach Delamater commented, "We started the fourth playing catch-up and when it got down to the wire, we had to foul and Central hit their free throws." The hornets went 12-16 in the quarter from the line to seal the win. Julie Ashbaugh paced the Tigers with 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Chloee Chase added 10 points.
