WHITE CLOUD HIGH SCHOOL: 28
The team engaged in a fast pace first quarter by quickly swinging to the open player, pulling us ahead by 13 and maintaining the lead for a 35-28 victory over White Cloud. Leading scorers, both starting freshman, Sara Arends (14 points) and Jaycee Rider (7 points), inalienably dominated the paint on help-side D, allowing the team to swipe 14 combined steals. Grant Tigers welcome Zoe Carson, newer to our district, who lead the team in offensive rebounds to pick up 6 points.
