The Grant Tigers traveled to Fremont on Saturday to compete in the Hill and Bale Invitational. The varsity boys were led by Reece Welch's 13th place finish with a time of 18:54. The 3rd - 5th place runners ran as a pack the majority of the race and finished well. Kyle Brege (20:15), Jaxon Gragg (20:30), Carter Cole (20:48) and Kolton Bazzett (21:29) finished the team scoring of 113 points which was good for 5th place. Kolton and Jack Noble (22:04) set personal records on the day. Reece, Kyle and Carter all ran faster times at this seasons Hill and Bale compared to the 2018 season.

During the JV race, Brandon Gates (23:18), Otwen Norberg (23:19) and Braylon Freeland (24:18) ran good races. Otwen Norberg set a personal record on the day and Braylon ran a faster time this season compared to last year at the Hill and Bale.
