Boys Varsity Cross Country vs. Portage Northern HS School

The boys traveled to Portage on Saturday to compete in the prestigious Portage Invitational. The boys were led on the day by Aaron Zimmer's time of 17:45, which is a seasons best and only 5 seconds shy of his personal record. Other personal bests were had by Kyle Brege (19:13), Jack Noble (21:53) and Otwen Norberg (21:20). Otwen crushed his previous personal best by over 1:30. Also, Carter Cole (19:31) ran his seasons best and ran 45 seconds faster than he did last fall at the Portage Invitational. The boys will travel to Newaygo on Tuesday to complete in the 2nd CSAA Jamboree of the season.
