Girls Varsity Cross Country vs. Benzie Central MS/HS

The girls varsity cross country team traveled to Benzonia on Saturday to complete in the Pete Moss Invite. The Lady Tigers were led by Elizabeth Gates time of 21:20, which is very impressive season debut. Gracie Bearup (24:56) and Paige DeVos (25:27) also raced well and continued to battle the second half of the race. The team scoring ended with Samatha Fryling (27:44) and Brenda Mendez (28:30) season debuts. The Lady Tigers will test their fitness and race strategy again when they travel to Fremont on September 7th to compete in the Hill and Bale Invite.
