The Tigers hosted the Grant Invitational Saturday. Hastings finished with 2 points and Coopersville won 14. The tournament came down to the last match, a four singles battle between Grant and Comstock Park. Comstock Park got the win and that secured the tournament win, edging out the host Tigers 42-40. Grant took home the first place medals at 1,2 and 3 singles, all players were undeated on the day. Karlton Zerlaut was the top player in the tournament only losing 3 games. Carter Chase only lost 3 games as well winning the 2S flight. And Dominick Brock won at 3S. The Tigers took 2nd place in all the doubles and 4 singles. Payton Swinehart and Deigo Krepps went 3 sets vs Comstock Park in the 2 Dubs final. Jake Krueger and Trent Patton played a great match in the final at 3 doubles, going to tiebreakers in the first two sets and 8-10 in the super match tiebreaker.
