The Varsity Boys Tennis team finished the season at the 2nd hardest Regional in the state last week up in Traverse City St Francis. The Tigers took 4th place with 13 points, battling tough conditions. The top three teams all advanced to this week's State Tournament. Jed and Dustin took the #3 seed to three sets at #1 Doubles in the quarterfinals. Carter Chase, at #2 singles, went three sets with the #2 seed in the semi finals. Karlton Zerlaut was the Regional Runner up at #1 singles, losing to the top see and #4 ranked player in the state. This qualifies him as an individual for this week's Championships. Karlton is seeded #6 out of 30 Number One singles players through out the state. He will play Friday in Kalamazoo at Stowe Stadium at 8am vs Almont.
