WHITEHALL HIGH SCHOOL: 7
The Tigers faced the always tough Whitehall Vikings last night in conference action. The guys played tough in a handful of flights winning multiple games. Austin Whitney played a close match at 4 singles winning 9 games. Jed at 1S went lost a close 6-4 second set. Riley Holmberg and Sawyer Carr won 6 games and were only a service break away. Payton Swinehart and Deigo Krepps went 3 sets pushing the Whitehall team to the max. Eli Bradley and Isaac Higgins came back early and won the first set in a tiebreaker and then took the second set for the Tigers to win the point at 3 doubles. Garrett, Ethan, and Nick picked up wins in 5th doubles and 5th singles. The team heads to Coopersville tonight and South Christian on Saturday.
