FREMONT HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The Tigers picked up the win over county rival Fremont 5-3 in conference play. The guys came out and won 4 flights to start the match. Seth and Matthew only gave up 1 game in a 4 doubles rout, Sawyer and Riley won at 2nd doubles and Payton and Diego closed out at #1 doubles. Jed took care of business at the top singles position. Fremont took the matches at 2,3 and 4 singles, which left only the 3 doubles teams on the court to decide the match. The visiting opponents took the first set, but the Tigers roared back winning the second set 6-2 and slamming the door 6-1 in the third to secure the win and put Grant into the conference tournament next weekend in Ludington. Great job Isaac and Eli.
