SPARTA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The tennis team took on close rival Sparta tonight in a non league dual match. The visiting Tigers swept the doubles. Payton and Diego only gave up 1 game at the top doubles spot. Kyle Bay returned from the injured reserve to pick up a win at #2 doubles with Sawyer Carr, winning the second set 6-0. Senior Riley Holmberg and freshman Drew Crater picked up the wins at #2 and #4 singles. Eli and Isaac won at #3 dubs. Senior captain Jed VanderWeide won in 3 sets and Matthew and Seth capped the night with a 3 set win at 4 doubles.
