The girls tennis team swung into action Saturday for their first competition since the 2019 State Finals.  The Tigers are returning 2 All State players in their lineup and are adding 8 first time Varsity athletes.  The team battled hard all day long playing three matches.  Pre season ranked #1 North Muskegon was up first!!!  Senior Liberty Peune and freshman Lauryn Maynard won their match.  Next up was a young, athletic West Catholic team.  Tiger #1 singles player, Jada Zerlaut won 6-0 6-0 recording her 10th career win without dropping a game.  The team finished with host North Point Christian.  Winning in 3 sets were both:  freshman Nadia Zeralut at #2 singles and seniors Kayla Crater and Baylee Miller at 4 dubs.  Seniors Emma Hetler and Sydney Patin plyaed great at #1 doulbes.  The girls had multilple 3 set matches and tiebreakers, showing they will be in the mix to qualify for the State Finals, June 4th and 5th.
