The ladies competed at the Mustang Invite Saturday against 6 of the top 10 teams in Division 4.  On a day where most sports cancelled, tennis was still played in extremely cold and windy conditions.  The Tigers finished just 2 points behind #8 ranked Portland.  #1 ranked Ann Arbor Greenhills took the title on the day, but the girls fought hard, battling the likes of #3 NM and #7 NPC, as well as top ten Catholic Central.  Jocee Pleaune and Ana Ovalle beat Portland and lost tough 3 set matches vs NPC  and Catholic Central at #3 doubles.  At #2 Dubs, Sami and Alaina went 5-7  4-6 with CC, 4-6  4-6 with NM and 7-5  6-7  7-10 with Elk Rapids. Sara and Lauryn took a set off Coopersville and went to a first set tiebreaker against NPC at the top doubles position.  In singles, Madison Brooks lost in a 2nd set tiebreak to Coopersville, but won her last two matches, beating NPC and Portland at 4 singles.  Senior Elayne Montambo beat Portland at #3 singles.  Nadia Zerlaut beat NPC at #2 singles and lost a 1st set tiebreaker vs Portland.  At #1 singles, Jada took out the Catholic Central player 6-4 7-5.
