SPARTA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The Tigers traveled to Sparta tonight and defeated the host Spartans 6-2. The Grant netters swept the doubles, lead by senior captain Sara Arends and teammate Lauryn Maynard at #1 doubles, winning 6-3 6-0. Sami and Alaina only gave up 2 games at #2 dubs to extend their winning streak to 8 matches. Elyane and Madison at the #4 position won 6-1 6-1. Freshman Jocee and Cato didn't drop a single game to win 6-0 6-0 at #3 doubles. Jada cruised to a 6-1 6-0 win at #1 singles and Nadia closed out the scoring at #2 singles with a 6-1 6-4 win. The ladies host Big Rapids on Thursday!!
