BIG RAPIDS HIGH SCHOOL: 3
Our lady Tigers earned their 6th win of the season with a 5-3 victory over Big Rapids. Jada Zerlaut picked up her 13th win of the year winning at #1 singles. Sami and Alaina won 6-0 6-1 at #2 doubles. Jocee and Ana didn't give up a game in their straight set win at 3 dubs. Elayne and Madison won at the 4D position, only giving up a few games. Sealing the win for the host Grant team was Sara Arends and Lauryn Maynard at the top doubles flight. Roaring back after dropping a close first set 4-6, the girls won 6-1 in the second set to force a thrid set tiebreaker. Where Lauryn ripped a forehand down the line for a clean winner on match point to win 10-7! The ladies head to Whitehall for the conference tournament Saturday.
