LUDINGTON HIGH SCHOOL: 5
The ladies hosted the 10-2 Ludington tennis team today. The Tigers lost a hard fought match 5-3. Jada Z at # 1 singles fought back after losing the first set to get the ‘W’, 10-2 in the third set tiebreaker. Sara and Lauryn won at the top doubles spots 6-1 6-2. And fresh off their conference championship, Jocee and Ana won 6-3 6-0 at 3 dubs. Seniors Alaina and Sami battled hard but went down in three sets at 2D and Elayne and Madison barely lost at 4D 7-6 (8-6) 6-4. The Tigers host Reeths Puffer in their last home match of the season tomorrow, Tuesday May 17.
