The girls tennis team wrapped up the 2022 season on the road vs Spring Lake tonight.  The Tigers got on the board with a 6-1 6-0 win by senior Jada Zerlaut at #1 singles.  Seniors Alaina Booth and Sami Atwood won at #2 doubles 6-3 6-3.  With the Lakers taking the remaing singles spots and the top doubles flight.  The Tigers were down 2-4, with 2 matches left.  At #3 doubles, Freshman Jocee and Ana lost a close tiebreaker first set, but bounced back to win the second and take the match in the "overtime" tiebreaker 3rd set.  So 4 dubs was the last duo standing, with the match in the balance.  Madison and Elayne won the first set and were deadlocked at 6-6 in the second set.  The girls went into the "overtime" tiebreaker and were down 4-5, but scored 2 points in a row to set up match point.  Elayne got the ball deep to set up Madison at the net for the overhead slam that was a clean winner to secure the win and force the match to a 4-4 tie.
