The Grant Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Tri-County to play their rival TC Vikings. The first two sets were back and forth with each team finding ways to end rallies. Grant won set one 25-19 and set two 25-20. The Tigers went on to finish set three Andy win the match with a commanding 25-10 win. The Tigers remain undefeated in league play.
Stat leaders tonight were outside hitters Olivia Keelean and Megan Wegener with 7 kills each, followed by right side hitter Catherine Geers with 6 kills. NICOLE Whan added 28 assists and scored 3 service aces. Megan Wegener also added three service aces to her stat line. The dig leader was Libero Kirstyn Throop with 15, Olivia Keelean with 12, and Jill Arends with 10.
The Tigers play again this Saturday at the Kent City Dig Pink Tournment.
