Grant defeated Muskegon Orchard View in 2 sets, 26-24, 25-18. Megan Wegener led us in kills with 7 and Savannah Passage added 5. Hayley Wegener had 11 assists while Sara Arends added 8. Kirstyn Throop led us in digs with 15. It was great to get a win for the Tigers playing at home!
Then Grant lost a tough match to Grand Rapids Catholic Central 25-12, 25-22. We struggled with errors in set 1 but put up a great fight in set 2 with energy and much better efficiency. CC is a great team so we are happy that we competed against them. Leaders for the game were Kirstyn Throop with 20 digs, Megan Wegener with 9 kills, Ashley Longcore and Savannah Passage with 5 each, and Sara Arends led us in assists with 19.
