REED CITY HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Varsity Volleyball team won their 2nd league match of the season against host Reed City with scores 25-21, 25-23, 25-20. Both teams played hard tonight - Reed City did a good job of defending our attack and kept bringing it back at us. Leaders for the night were Kirstyn Throop with 1 ace and 33 digs, Savannah Passage with 7 kills, 2 blocks, 9 digs, and 2 aces; Megan Wegener with 9 kills and 14 digs; Sara Arends led us in assists with 20 assists and 11 digs; Hayley Wegener added 12 assists, and Ashley Longcore added 6 kills. It was a great team win tonight. Next match is this Saturday at Cadillac HS.
