CHIPPEWA HILLS HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The girls varsity volleyball team had a great home conference match against Chippewa Hills tonight. The Tigers defeated the Warriors in 3 sets with scores 25 - 9, 25 - 16, 25 - 13. Tonight's match was a great team effort where everyone contributed to the win.
Leaders for the game were Kirstyn Throop with 17 digs; Ashley Longcore with 6 kills, 8 digs, 3 aces, and 1 block; Megan Wegener with 8 kills, 7 digs; Savannah Passage with 4 kills and 2 blocks; Hayley Wegener led us in assists tonight with 15 and Sara Arends added 9 assists, 1 kill, and 7 digs; Trinity Swanson and Kassidy Doornbos added 7 digs each. The girls travel to Jenison on Thursday for a quad against Jenison, Montague, and Big Rapids. The Tigers are now 3-0 in the league with our next league match against Tri County next Tuesday at home.
