JENISON HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The varsity volleyball team went 1-2 tonight, losing to Jenison 10-25, 17-25, and then battling with Montague to win set 1, 25-23, but lost set 2, 22-25 and set 3, 4-15. Finishing out the night, the Tigers defeated Big Rapids in two sets, winning 25-10, 25-21.
Leaders for the quad were Kirstyn Throop with 45 digs, 2 aces, 4 assists. Savannah Passage and Megan Wegener added 13 kills each; Haley Wegener added 37 assists while Sara Arends led us in aces with 4 and added 24 digs.
Tigers next match is at home against Tri County on Tuesday, October 1.
