TRI-COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Varsity Volleyball team defeated Tri County in 4 sets tonight, 25-23, 26-28, 25-14, 25-11, with close scores in sets 1 & 2. However, the team relaxed and got settled in during the 3rd & 4th sets and everyone contributed to the sweet victory. Tri County played great defense and made us work for our points! The team is now 4-0 in the league with the next match Tuesday, 10/8 at home against Fremont at 7 PM, and our final home match of the season is a quad next Thursday, 10/10, at 5, 6 & 7 PM.
Leaders for the match were Kirstyn Throop with 34 digs, Sara Arends with 3 aces and 16 digs, Ashley Longcore and Megan Wegener with 13 kills each, while Savannah Passage added 10. Hayley Wegener led us in assists with 37 and added 15 digs.
