The Varsity Volleyball team had a good day today at the Central Montcalm tournament defeating Pellston (25-9, 25-12) and Central Montcalm (25-16, 25-16), and splitting with Cedar Springs (25-20, 17-25) in pool play.  The Tigers were ranked #4 overall in the Gold bracket and lost in the Gold semi-final game against Cadillac (15-25, 13-25).  Our overall regular season record ended at 27-16-6.  Next week we will be playing in the District Tournament hosted at Coopersville High School.  Grant will play the winner of Tri County and Newaygo on Wednesday at 7 PM.

Leaders from the tournament today were:

Megan Wegener with 24 kills, Ashley Longcore with 19, and Savannah Passage with 17.  Savannah Passage also led us in blocks with 6.  Leading the team in aces was Trinity Swanson with 5, followed by Sara Arends with 4.  Kirstyn Throop led the team in digs with 68, followed by Sara Arends with 39.  Hayley Wegener led the team in assists with 69.
