Grant Tigers won their District semi-final game tonight in 3 sets against Newaygo and advance to the District championship against Coopersville on Thursday at 6 PM at Coopersville High School. The girls did a great job on serve receive and defense and were led by Kirstyn Throop with 37 digs, followed by Megan Wegener with 13 and Hayley Wegener with 11. Savannah Passage led us in kills tonight with 12, followed by Megan Wegener with 11 and Ashley Longcore with 9, Ashley also led us in aces with 4 tonight, and Savannah led us in blocks with 3. Hayley Wegener led the team in assists with 36. Overall record is 28-16-6. The Tigers are looking forward to playing in their 10th consecutive District championship game. We hope to see you there!
