Girls JV Volleyball vs. Reeths-Puffer HS School

REETHS-PUFFER HIGH SCHOOL: 1
On Saturday the JV Volleyball team traveled to the Reeths Puffer Invite. The team played well both defensively and offensively. We passed well and were able to utilize all our hitters. In pool play, we defeated Spring Lake 2-1, Reeths Puffer 2-0, Cedar Springs 2-1, Hasting 2-0 ending the morning as the number 1 seed. In bracket play we defeated Reeths Puffer 2-0 and we lost to Spring Lake in the championship, taking them to 3 sets but losing 20-25, 25-13 and 9-15 in the 3rd set Our record for the day was 5-1, finishing as tournament runner-up. Everyone was able to contribute to the success of the day. Our overall record is 14-8-1 and our league record is 1-0.
