Grant had great day at the Sparta tournament. The Tigers defeated Kenowa Hills 21-11, 21-15. Then they went on to beat West Michigan Christian 21-19, 21-16. The Tigers fought hard against Whitehall and managed to come out with a tie, 21-23, 21-17.  Grant ended pool play in first place and drew a third seed overall for bracket play.  The Fremont Packers were first on the list and they defeated them 25-20, 25-12.  In the semi finals Grant defeated Sparta 25-12, 25-17.   In the championship match against Forest Hills Eastern they rose to the occasion after losing set one 13-25 they came back to win 25-21 in set two. A battle in set three ended in a loss for the Tigers 16-18. It was a great match to watch and be part of. The girls had a amazing day and have a lot to be proud of.  The Tigers are 20-9-1 overall and 2-0 in the league.  The Tigers return to league play Tuesday at Chippewa Hills at 5:30.
