BLACK RIVER PUBLIC SCHOOL: 0
The Grant JV team defeated Black River 27-25, 25-23. They were a scrappy team but we lost focus in set one and had to come back from a 8 point deficit to get the win. Jessica Throop served 8 points in a row to get us back in game 24-24 then Susan Rau finished to give us the victory. In the night cap we defeated West Michigan Christian 25-14, 25-8. We did a great job all night with serving tough and passing very well. The Tigers are now 19-18-1 and 4-1 in league play.
