The Grant Wrestling Team finally started their season Saturday at Kelloggsville. The Tigers opened by defeating the host Rockets 37-24, before falling to Hanover-Horton 24-52 and Zeeland East 24-60. Picking up two wins on the day were Caleb Thompson 215lbs, Adrian Bouwkamp 112,119lbs, Kaiden Pascoe 112,119lbs, Jaden Rewa 130lbs, Kameron Walker 135lbs, Brady Jacobs 140,145lbs, and Chase Kazemier 140,145lbs. Reid Williams 285lbs and Anthony Sparks 152lbs were also in the win column on Saturday. The wrestling team returns to action Wednesday February 17th for a quad at Home with Kent City, Tri County, and Montague.
