Win: 14 - 8
Grant had a great defensive game beating Tri-County 14-8. Leading the defensive end was Kyle Williams with 10 tackles and Isaiah Powell with 8 tackles and 1 interception. Rounding out defense was Jarred Howell with 7 tackles and 1 interception.
Grant’s offense was led by Trevor Lowery with 108 yards rushing and 2 touchdown runs. Chase Lowery contributed 93 yards in total offense.
The credit for this win goes to the to the Players and assistant coaches. We had a great week of practice and the game plan was solid. This is a program win….The future is bright!

Grant Loses a Thiller to Chippewa Hills

Lose: 25 - 27
Grant Tigers hosted Chippewa Hills Warriors and lost a hard fought game 27-25. The Tigers had an uncharacteristic first half turning the ball over four times. However, the defense stood up to the challenge and entered half time down one score. The second half was a back and forth affair with the Warriors taking an 8-point lead late in the fourth quarter. Tigers refused to quit and drove the length of the field in 15 seconds to make the final score 27-25. Grant came up short with the 2-point conversion leaving the Chippewa Hills Warriors with the win.
Jared Howell led the team with 10 receptions and 182 yards, 1 touchdown reception. On defense 6 tackles and 1 interception.
Chase Lowery was 15/24 for 235 yards and 3 touchdown passes. Chase had 8 tackles and 1 interception.
Isaiah Powell was a defensive standout leading the team with 12 tackles.
